Join us for an empowering journey into strength training designed specifically for women! This program blends education with practical gym experience, helping you build confidence and knowledge as you learn to lift weights effectively. Each weekly topic will focus on training specific areas of the body with exercises that target your lower body, upper body, and core to increase strength and improve posture. This program is led by Anna Jurik Baxter. Anna is a licensed Chiropractic Physician and a Registered and Licensed Dietitian/ Nutritionist. Her education also includes a BS in Exercise Physiology and MS in Advanced Clinical Practice. Along with her degrees she has earned various certifications and training over the years to diversify her options when working with both patients in the clinic and clients in the fitness field

Strength on the Path is a fun, dynamic 8-week program designed to get you moving and feeling strong while enjoying the fresh air and beautiful surroundings of our park district’s walking path.

The Lemont Park District Dolphins Swim Team is a recreational swim program dedicated to teaching youth to swim and develop skills for
competition on the local and regional level. The Dolphins are committed to supporting all swimmers at every level of competition, from
dual meets to championship level competitions. Included in the registration fee is your swimmer’s team t-shirt. Practices hosted in the post-season will require additional payment. The team participates in both dual meets as part of the South Suburban Swim Conference (SSSC) and has the option to register with USA Swimming and swim
in USA sanctioned meets.

New swimmers may have to pay the $83 USA Swimming fee if competing at the USA Team level. (RS)
High School Team is meant for any registered high school swimmer who is going to miss half of the season due to competing with the high school team.
If you are not registered for the high school team, you do not sign up for the high school group.

This program is for the player who has the knowledge of the forehand, backhand, volley, overhead and serves. Basic strategies and tactics will be taught for singles and doubles. Instructed by Dana Graczyk. (PF)

The beginning/intermediate class will focus on fundamentals and is perfect for beginners and a great review for more advanced players. The intermediate/advanced class follows a similar approach but deals with more advanced concepts. Learn 8-Ball, 9-Ball, 14.1 and more. Cog Hill and the Lemont Park District have partnered to create an instructional program to promote the game of golf. Cog Hill's PGA Instructor will cover the fundamentals of golf: full swing, putting, chipping, pitching and bunker play. The classes are designed for the novice as well as golfers of all levels. Please bring your own clubs, if you don’t not have any, Cog Hill will provide them. No rainouts due to overhead shelter. Sorry, no make-ups. (PF)

You will learn classic line dances as well as the hottest dances done at the bars & dance clubs in the Chicago area. Dances are simple for beginners, & you will dance to country & non- country songs. Line dancing is fantastic for your mental memory & your muscle memory, & you get a great low impact workout. So sign up & get ready to have a lot of fun! Please bring a water bottle to class. Split into two teams and compete in the high-energy Game Show Battle Rooms experience! With three exciting games, a live host and producer, and 75 minutes of non-stop fun, it's the ultimate showdown. The winning team will hoist the Champions' Trophy—and have eternal bragging rights! We will be stopping at Empire on our way to the Game show room. The trip includes transportation, Game show battle.
