The Young 3’s class was developed for children who turn three years old between September 1st and December 31st. The Young 3’s meet Tuesday and Thursday for an hour and a half. Young 3’s is an introductory class that will help foster socialization and learning in a fun, safe and caring environment. Emphasis is on social skills, separation from parent, learning to share, taking turns and independence. Daily activities include art, dramatic play, and large motor play (inside and outside). Stories, songs and FUN! The children will be introduced to colors, shapes, numbers and counting, letters, spatial relations and learn to recognize their name. (RL)
